SELF-DISCIPLINE: WHAT IT IS AND YOUR ENEMIES ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS!

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL NOR AM I CLAIMING TO BE! THIS IS JUST WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM READING AND RESEARCHING AND I WANT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU IN MY OWN WORDS!

Welcome to my blog today! I will be bringing you today self-discipline and how it is the most vital thing you will need for all kinds of success in your life, including personal, your business and money goals, and your OVERALL happiness!

Self-Discipline is defined as self-mastery, self-control and self-denial. Basically, self-discipline is doing the right things and not necessarily easy things to achieve success in your life. It is waking up that 30 minutes early to be the first one at the office, or running that extra mile to reach the finish line.

Your two enemies are the Path of Least Resistance and the Expediency Factor, connected to each other, hand in hand.

The Path of Least Resistance is when a person takes the easy way out of everything. Shortcuts are the Path of Least Resistance. You don't want to take the easy way out because it won't bring you any true success, you'll then wonder why you can't be successful. Deny yourself the pleasures now because when you put in the work, you will be successful.

The Expediency Factor is basically the extension chord of the Path of Least Resistance. The Expediency factor is when a person does what they want to fulfill their personal gains without any regard for the consequences later. If you think about it, that's why all time travel movies have that rule, don't look or talk to your future self or even know anything about the future because it will make a difference in your future or past or something like that. It' the same thing with the Expediency Factor because it's people doing what they want now so they miss different opportunities that would've caused them success. If you decided to go to the movies with your boyfriend, you're missing out on the opportunity to go to that virtual info session for a college, or you miss out on reading that one success book you meant to read earlier. Your choices now will determine your future, so if you have fun now, you won't have any later, you'll be working that 9 to 5 and wondering what the hell happened to your life.

So, what am I trying to say is that self-discipline is hard to achieve, and these are your enemies, but I know that if you can get through it, you will be successful in life! Don't let these things be the devil on your shoulder prohibiting you to becoming your ideal self.
